Land Development Services

PSC planners advance ideas to working visual concepts and with their engineers develop information on the feasibility, permitting requirements, construction issues and order of magnitude construction costs. Optimal layout design, including siting of buildings, access roads, parking, loading, waste storage and site amenities, is supported with grading and stormwater management facilities, utility services, landscaping and lighting.

A major component to PSC’s experience and capabilities include the analysis, design and permitting of stormwater management facilities to meet the local, state (MassDEP) and federal (EPA) requirements to control quantity and quality of stormwater runoff from existing and proposed roadways and sites. PSC has a wide variety of experience designing, permitting and implementing a full “bag of tools” including low impact development (LID) techniques and best management practices (BMPs) to meet the required performance standards.

The PSC team includes engineers and planners with extensive experience on a wide variety of projects not only as project engineers and designers but as peer reviewers. By reviewing hundreds of projects PSC knows the latest engineering techniques, practices and successful resolutions to challenging engineering issues.
